After serving Jesus in Uganda with WGM for nine years, Josh and Kelly Hallahan and their four children (Caleb, Seth, Elizabeth, and Rebekah) came back to the USA without much certainty as to what God was up to or where he was leading them. So, they waited on the Lord.
As they waited, the Lord slowly revealed his next assignment to them. They say this assignment is one that makes them feel alive and excited in ways they haven’t felt in a while and in ways that feel sweetly similar to the ways they ministered while they lived in Uganda. In July, the Hallahan family will join the Francis Asbury Society to lead our Student Ministries initiative, cultivating deep, discipleship relationships with students at Asbury University and Asbury Seminary. FAS has been invited by the presidents at both institutions to have an active presence on campus.
In Numbers 10, Moses extends an invitation “Come with us… for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.” God is on the move! He is doing good things and we don’t want you to miss out! You have a role to play in discipling the next generation where you are. We invite you to support the Hallahans and declare that you will do your part to disciple the next generation.
