This fall FAS will again sponsor an in-depth Bible study at the Ministry Center in Wilmore. Our focus will be the book of 2 Chronicles and will center on the eight good kings of Judah (Asa, Jehoshaphat, Joash, etc.). Participants will receive a workbook, and each week we will examine the strengths and especially the weaknesses of these good men. Our study will zero in on the character flaws, highlighted by Scripture, that ultimately brought about the moral failure of these otherwise godly personalities. The study will enrich our understanding of leadership, temptation, godliness and will endeavor to encourage the participants to finish strong.
The Bible teacher this year will be Stan Key. New to the FAS staff, Stan comes to us after serving ten years as a missionary in France and eighteen years in Albany, New York where he served as Senior Pastor of Loudonville Community Church. Stan also serves as the spiritual dean for PAACS (Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons) and speaks at camps, retreats, and evangelistic meetings. He and Katy have been married for 36 years and have three daughters and three grand children.
Please join us on Tuesday nights starting September 3. No need to sign up–just come!
