Ephesians: My Heart, Christ’s Home

Led by Dr. John N. Oswalt, an American scholar and distinguished professor of Old Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary.
What does it mean to live one’s daily life “seated in the heavenlies with Christ”?
SUMMARY: Ephesians was written while Paul was in prison in Rome. It expresses Paul’s mature thought on such things as the identity of Jesus and, in particular, the nature of the Christian life. Paul talks about what it means to live one’s daily life “seated in the heavenlies with Christ.” He explains what it means for Christ to live in our hearts by faith, being the temple of God, and manifesting Christ’s love. He shows how all these things are possible because of the reality of the Spirit living in us. In this study, you will be challenged to rise above Christian mediocrity and to plunge beneath a superficial, world-absorbed faith.
