I am honored and blessed to be a part of the Francis Asbury Society where I serve as Treasurer. I live in Lexington, KY, with my wife (Jo) of 30+ years. I have worked for several different companies, all in the accountant function, over my career, but I am sure that the Francis Asbury Society is the most loving and supportive organization. I grew up in Louisville, KY, where I graduated high school and enlisted in the Marine Corps. While in the Marines, I learned the basics of the Christian life, such as meeting regularly with other Christians for Bible study and fellowship, having regular, consistent times alone with God, memorizing Scripture, and sharing my faith. After leaving the Marine Corps, I joined a college ministry (Students for Christ) and continued to sharpen those skills. I have rubbed elbows with many who have been called to minister overseas and am thrilled to hear their stories, but I feel that God wants me to make disciples right here in the USA. I am overjoyed and challenged to be a part of the Francis Asbury Society.
