Meet Our Evangelists

Francis Asbury Society evangelists are gifted evangelists and teachers who proclaim the message of salvation and scriptural holiness. They come alongside organizations to lead evangelistic and renewal ministries, they embrace Wesleyan-holiness theology, they model a godly lifestyle, and they spread God’s life-changing message. Meet our evangelists!

John Juneman

FAS Evangelist

Dr. John Juneman is an evangelist with the heart of a pastor and teacher who has given his life to the expositional study, preaching, and teaching of the Word and the message of Scriptural holiness. His calling is to be a “torchbearer” of the truth to this generation and the next.

John received the Bachelor of Arts in Religion (Greek minor) from Olivet Nazarene University, the Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2004 with the dissertation, “Rediscovering Discipleship in Wesleyan Holiness Theology and Practice.”

As an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 1994, John has served the church as both a pastor (eight years) and as a commissioned evangelist. As well as traveling to preach in revivals and camps, his ministry includes teaching in a variety of settings, including live online weekly Bible classes to nearly 100 high school students around the world through The Potter’s School, serving as faculty adjunct in the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University, and pastoral training and equipping overseas. He serves as the Evangelist in Residence at Trevecca Community Church in Nashville, TN, and is a co-teacher of the Agape Sunday School class.

John’s highest calling and focus in “torchbearing” is his family. He and Trina were married in 1988, and have two adult children: daughter Chaili (Michael) Foster, and son Carey, who serves in the United States Coast Guard.
