Dr. Nelson Perdue
FAS Evangelist
Dr. Nelson Perdue has served as an evangelist for 45 years, preaching the message of Biblical Holiness in the USA and abroad. Nelson has served in leadership positions in the Church of the Nazarene.
Nelson began his work as an itinerant evangelist after a short pastorate. He has spoken at numerous camp meetings and given Holiness Lectures at most universities in the Church of the Nazarene.
Nelson is the author of several books and has written articles for many periodicals. While serving as the Revivalist Coordinator for the Church of the Nazarene, he founded the Evangelists’ Perspective Magazine. Nelson received an honorary Doctor of Divinity conferred by Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2002.
Nelson has been married to his wife Barbara since 1962. They have three sons, seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
