SUMMARY:Spring 2017: Geography of Salvation
DESCRIPTION:This Bible study was led by Stan Key\, president of the Francis Asbury Society (2014-2020)\, and was produced in 2017. \n SUMMARY: When Jesus called his disciples\, he said simply\, “Follow me.” He was inviting them on a journey. He himself would show the way. In fact\, he was the way (John 14:6)! The classic biblical description of this journey with God is the story of how Israel left Egypt\, guided by the pillar of fire as it led them to the Land of Promise. This two-volume study follows the route the Hebrews took on their journey as they passed through the Red Sea\, spent time at Marah (the bitter place)\, camped at Mount Sinai\, turned back in fear at Kadesh Barnea\, wandered in circles in the desert for forty years\, crossed the Jordan River\, and fought the battle of Jericho. The geography of salvation helps us to understand not only their journey\, but ours! Don’t waste your life doing laps in the wilderness.
